In Car:

Shiv is driving Anandi home and enjoying some personal moments. Shiv makes a puppy face and tells Anandi that he had sent a private SMS to her not to the family . Anandi explains why she let Nandu read the message. Shiv says he was expecting her to be missing him. Then sees her Mehendi (henna) and says it’s beautiful. They both mention that they missed each other last night and Shiv says that he won’t let Anandi stay away for this long from him. She blushes.

At CH

Ex-Sarpanch, Gulli and few other villagers come to invite Anandi – Shiv and Shekhars for AnSh farewell party. They talk of grand celebrations. Anandi feels obliged and accepts the invitation.

Daddu feels very happy to see how Jaitserains love and respect AnSh.

Saanchi complains that Mahi left for his cricket, Alok replies to her saying that cricket is Mahi’s hobby just as complaining is hers. Saanchi asks if there would be anything interesting about the evening. A says Saanchi will enjoy and Saanchi has a big broad happy smile on her face.

Shekhars start preparing for the evening. The men are ready and complaining over women taking their time to get ready. Alok – Ira make some light comments on each other, while all wait for Anandi.

Suddenly everyone is stunned seeing Anandi wearing a Bridal dress. Saanchi was totally impressed and gives her compliments (how did that happen?? ) Everyone else gives compliments to Anandi and she says it was DS bridal wear. Daddu makes a remark on how pretty DS would have been in her youth. They all head for the function, while Shiv and Anandi steal glances.

Function Venue:

There is pretty decoration at the entrance of the venue; flowers, lights, red carpet and little girls dancing. Shekhars receive a warm welcome from Singhs. All singhs including Shyam’s family is very happy to see AnSh, but J looks lost. Ds is very pleased to see A in the bridal wear.

Shekhars, particularly Saanchi is very impressed with the decoration and arrangements. Shiv and Anandi are made to sit on special chairs. The function begins with Bhairon’s welcome speech. He welcomes Jiatser’s Collector Sahab and Sarpanch Bitiya. He says that although he feels sad to give them farewell, he is also very proud to have a daughter like Anandi, to whom the entire village respects. He says there will be some entertainment through out the night.

The first show is to present Anandi’s entire journey of life before the audience. He talks of the first phase of this little bride who was brought in to Jaitser as a bride, but due to the beautiful bonding she shared, actually a daughter had stepped in. Anandi feels emotional.

Voice over: When a girl from a different family accepts her marital home as her own, and becomes a daughter instead of a DIL then, the relationship that forms becomes more valuable than blood relations and sets a big example in the society.

Pre-cap: An act is being performed. A group of people act as Singh parivaar and child bride Anandi is shown to enter their lives. Suddenly DS shows her disappointment that the performers are also enacting her. Everyone in audience is shocked
