Sphere Origins’ popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon… Ek Baar Phir on Star Plus, is heading towards some major drama in its forthcoming episodes after Geetanjali Tikekar has quit the show.

We hear from our source that, “Actress Geetanjali Tikekar who essays the character of Anjali, has quit the show and in the upcoming tracks of the show, her character will see an end. Anjali will get killed because of some property dispute going among the family members. The death of Anjali will shatter Shlok so much that he will slip into coma.”

When we contacted Geetanjali, she confirmed the news saying, “I have quit the show due to creative dissatisfaction. As a result, my character will be bumped off. Looking forward to a new beginning very soon.”

When we contacted Avinash Sachdev to know about Shlok slipping into coma, he said, “No, nothing like that but still anything can happen in a TV show (laughs). Even if Shlok goes into coma, that will only add a new shade to my character. So I am prepared for anything.”

Seems more interesting twists and turns is in store for the viewers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon… Ek Baar Phir!

    I don’t want her to leave its just so sad when a mother and son finally started bonding she had to die in the show.

    very very sad and im so dpresed on hearing Anjali is no more Her role was very nice when she was abad MIL and then when she became avery nice mother You people have not given much time for son and mother to stay togther that episode when Shlok and Anjali came together both their acting was super come on dont take her away

    Sad news. Gitanjali was simply superb as Anjali Agnihotri. Initially as the strict MIL and now as the affectionate ayee to his daughters in law sojal and Astha She is terrific. She looked simply gorgeous with her beautiful sarees and matching accessories. She was the most attractive mother and has a very pretty smile. The person who is going to replace her in NA’s life that is Kavitha has a tough time ahead. Right now she looks very ordinary does not have that extra something that Gitanjali has. I had that doubt as Anjali was telling her daughters in law that they have to continue the sanskar even after her and now my doubts toh sach nikhla. Bye Gitanjali. Good innings and hoping to see you soon in another show.

    I knew it. . So ds is reason for d new track with kavita.. they are doing d same thing what happened in punarvivah 2..wen actress doing yash’s mother ‘s role decided to quit they made yash an illegitimate son and introduced another lady as his own mother… made her marry yash’s father… I love anjali..
