Nikita and Ridheema ‘cannot stand’ Mumbai rains

Although Nikita Sharma, the lead actress of Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan, loves the city of Mumbai, this Delhi girl can’t stand the Mumbai rains.

“I have been here only for six months, so have never seen the annual tryst with the rain Gods before. It has been pouring since June and I find it tough to get going to work every morning. The roads get flooded and the traffic snarls get on your nerves. Also there is a lot of muck on the sets; God knows how you guys face this part (monsoon) year-on-year,” she exclaims.

Poor Nikita has also become a victim of the rain related sickness. “Very recently, I had severe viral fever and was on very heavy antibiotics. Given the tough daily schedules, I had to come to work even in that condition,” she complains.

Unfortunately, Nikita is not the only victim on the sets of her show, even Ridheema Tiwari (character name Rasika) was down with the same illness. Observes the actress, “I am tired of being unwell. It’s been a week now that I was down with a bad stomach infection and ironically, I had to shoot the most during that period. It was an entire day full of energy packed scenes. In between the scenes, my blood pressure used to fall and this had me in tears; but again I used to gather myself for the next scene.

Looks like I’ve developed a sore throat too. The worst part of these rainy days is that one easily catches infections. My immunity system too has gone for a toss.”

Hmm, take care girls…abhi aur barish baki hain!!!
