Mohit Abrol replaces Cezzane Khan in Gangaa!

& TV show Gangaa was recently in the news for being the comeback vehicle of Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Anurag Basu a.k.a Cezzane Khan. However, there is now a small change in the scenario. The actor is no longer a part of the show. Cezzane even confirmed the news.

A leading daily quoted Cezzane saying that he was indeed roped in for the show but during discussions with the makers, he realised that the project was not working out for him. The actor, who would be seen on the television screen after a long break, wanted to make sure that everything fell into place properly.

And Cezzane Khan’s loss has worked in favour of actor Mohit Abrol. He will be the new man in Gangaa’s life. The character of Rudra, will now be essayed by Mohit Abrol.

When contacted, Mohit confirmed the news. “Yes. I am a part of Gangaa now. Gangaa is a very popular show and this will also be my second outing with &TV. I am looking forward to the show.”

When we quizzed him as to what made him take up the role, Mohit said, “I really liked the name Rudra. It is strong, masculine and has an authoritative feel to it. And also my body language matches with the name.”

Mohit’s entry will be aired sometime next week.
