Producer Sudhir Sharma talks about his two men in Na Bole… Beera and Munna

The handsome hunks of the new season of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors, Siddharth Arora (Beera) and Kanwar Dhillon (Munna) have already cast their magical spell on the audience. The makers, Sunshine Productions are receiving fabulous feedbacks from the loyal fans of the show for the way in which these two characters are shaping up.

Talking about this, Producer Sudhir Sharma told us, “Casting and storytelling are two main pillars for any show’s success. And I usually go through the final rounds of auditions to know more about the characteristics of the actor. The roles of Beera and Munna were very important to our story line, and we made sure to go through quite a lot of workshops before finalizing on the actor.”

Sudhir went on, “Beera needed a very rugged look, a guy who can be aggressive in his attitude. Munna on the other hand had to show quite a lot of emotions. Kanwar Dhillon played a very small role in our show for Channel [V]’s Buddy Project and that was when I had promised him a role in one of my upcoming shows. He was definitely in mind for either Beera or Munna. There was an initial thought to cast him as Beera, but as we went through our extensive narrations and workshops, Siddharth Arora picked up the role of Beera perfectly. Also, Kanwar’s heavy voice and looks suited the role of Munna to the ‘T’.”

Sudhir is a happy man today, as both Siddharth and Kanwar have been well-accepted by fans. “Siddharth is doing a fabulous job as Beera and it is simply amazing to see the man on screen. Kanwar’s entry sequence got a great response and I am sure he will have a huge fan following in days to come.”

On the story forward, Sudhir said, “Mohan and Megha will be coming face to face for the first time after 12 years in the Shivrathri carnival. The meet-up comes as a surprise to both of them. Usually, it happens that we do not react in the way we want to react. And this is what will happen with Mohan and Megha. The great lovers will leave a sad taste in the viewers’ minds when they meet after 12 years. This will make the journey all the more interesting as viewers will be eager to know how Mohan and Megha will accept each other in their lives all over again in the coming months.”

Let’s hope that Na Bole… strikes a great connect with the viewers in months to come.
