Hi Sunni and Kris thanks for your kind words of support. Its tough sometimes dealing with it all , but I always try to deal with adversity they my parents taught me, NO MATTER WHAT GOD WILL GUIDE THE WAY. Sometimes it can be really hard dealing with his illness especially after he get’s chemo and the side effects of it, its hard to see my superman in pain. He thinks he does such a good job of hiding it especially when the little one is around. Taking it one day at a time and good thing is slowly but surely he’s beating it ,so I thank god for that. Kris his parents still don’t speak to us. I hope we can chat some more and get our forum back up and running.

To everyone please please get screened and tested cancer. You are never to young!

Hi Kris last year was a tough one, lost my mom,dad and grandmother in the space of 4 months and then my husband was diagnosed with stage 1 bone cancer in his leg. His treatment is going well cause the doctors caught it early, but it’s a terrifying experience. Our daughter has been a strength through all of this.

Your comment.. *Every woman, please read :*

Recently this past week, a newly graduated student (aged 31) with a doctoral degree about to start her new career as a Doctor…) was flown into a nearby hospital, because she passed out.

They found a blood clot in her neck, and immediately took her by helicopter to operate. By the time they removed the right half of her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain; the clot had spread to her brain causing severe damage.

Since last Wednesday night, she was battling… they induced her into a coma to stop the blood flow, they operated 3 times… Finally, they said there was nothing left that they could do… they found multiple clots in the left side of her brain… the swelling wouldn’t stop, and she was on life support…

She died at 4:30 yesterday. She leaves behind a husband, a 2yr old Brandon and a 4yr old Justin… The CAUSE of DEATH – they found was a birth control pill she was taking that allows you to only have your menstrual period 3 times a year… They said it interrupts life’s menstrual cycle, and although it is FDA approved… shouldn’t be – So to the women in my address book – I ask you to boycott this product and deal with your period once a month – so you can live the rest of the months that your life has in store for you.

Please send this to every woman you know – you may save someone’s life… Remember, you have a menstrual CYCLE for a reason!

The name of this new birth control pill is LYBREL. If you go to Lybrel.com http://lybrel.com/, you will find at least 26 pages of information regarding this drug.

The second birth control pill is, SEASONIQUE. If you go to the website of, Seasonique.com http://seasonique/ .com/, you will find 43 pages of information regarding this drug.

The warnings and side effects regarding both pills are horrible. Please, please forward this information to as many daughters AND sons, co-workers, friends and relatives. Several lives have already been changed.

    Please SHARE after reading.

This message has Awoken me dearly and I think you need it too.
I thought I should share as received.

    RIGHTEOUS IDOL WORSHIPPER?

I wondered why I was in the queue of accused at all. I am intelligent, aggressive, young, totally committed to my God. What am I doing here with this sheet of supposed sins in my hand I wondered?

    I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t fornicate, I don’t steal, I am righteous. Others should be here not me.

It was finally my turn to face the Man.

I placed my sheet before Him, He glanced at it and sighed softly.
He looked at me and calmly said, ‘Guilty of idol worship.’

Imagine my anger, my fury, my indignation. I jumped out of the chair and said ‘Of course not! Check the sheet again, check the name, It can’t be mine.’

He sighed again and mentioned one of my names that no one knows.

I would not be stopped. It’s impossible’ I yelled. I worship only God, the Most High, Maker of heaven and earth, the King of kings and Lord of lords. I bow down to none, I have no talisman, no amulet, no pot underneath my bed.

‘You are guilty of idol worship’ He repeated calmly.

He looked at me, I looked at Him. It seemed like forever. The room was silent. I could hear the clock ticking.

    Then slowly I understood.

I am never late for bus/train station or air flight but I am always late to church – I blinked.

My payments to services I enjoy eg:Dstv, phone bills etc, are never late but I haven’t given offerings/tithes in three months – I looked down.

When meeting one of our local chiefs last week I would not even pick a call in the presence of earthly royalty, but I WhatsApp in church

I wouldn’t interrupt my performance appraisal with my boss for anything but I missed church last week because of a series on TV

I wouldn’t let a day end without talking to my spouse but today I just said Hi God, Bye God. And I didn’t even pray last night – The room began to feel hot.

I would never miss going to the bank because of the weather but I missed fellowship on Wednesday and Friday because it was drisilling.

I would wear my party colors to party meetings and not care what anyone thought of me but I hate to talk to my workmates about God because of what they will think of me.

I always have the latest tech gadget you can think of but my bible is so worn out. I can’t even find the book of Jude in my bible anymore.

The last thing to touch before going to bed is my phone and the first thing in the morning….chating on whatapp or replying offline messages. And never bordering to talk with God or reading His word.

I felt so hot in the room, a nervous sweat on my forehead, I felt so ill and weak, all of my anger and self-righteousness was gone, leaving immense guilt in its wake.

I slowly got of the chair and knelt by His feet and said ‘I am sorry, I am guilty as charged, Guilty of idol worship, guilty of placing others; humans, technology before You. I am guilty of idol worship.’

He smiled gently, looked at me with those passionate eyes of His full of love and He gave me a fresh sheet!and said !!Deliver souls!!
Now i want you to share or inform others to alert them as i know they are not aware of what they are doing.
God bless you as you share to deliver souls with me. Amen.

    From Gloria UK.

“Lexophile” is a word used to describe those that have a love for words, such as “you can tune a piano, but you can’t tuna fish”, or “to write with a broken pencil is pointless.” A competition to see who can come up with the best lexophiles is held every year in an undisclosed location. This year’s winning submission is posted at the very end.

    The Stranger
A few years after I was born, my Dad met a stranger
who was new to our small town. From the beginning,
Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer
and soon invited him to live with our family. The
stranger was quickly accepted and was around
    from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my
family. In my young mind, he had a special niche.
My parents were complementary instructors: Mom
taught me good from evil, and Dad taught me to obey.
But the stranger… he was our storyteller. He would
keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures,
    mysteries and comedies.

If I wanted to know anything about politics, history
or science, he always knew the answers about the past,
understood the present and even seemed able to predict
the future! He took my family to the first major league
ball game. He made me laugh, and he made me cry. The
stranger never stopped talking, but Dad didn’t seem
    to mind.

Sometimes, Mom would get up quietly while the rest of
us were shushing each other to listen to what he had to
say, and she would go to the kitchen for peace and quiet.
(I wonder now if she ever prayed for the stranger to leave.)

Dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions,
but the stranger never felt obligated to honor them.
Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our home – not
from us, our friends or any visitors. Our long time visitor,
however, got away with four-letter words that burned my
ears and made my dad squirm and my mother blush.

My Dad didn’t permit the liberal use of alcohol but the
stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular basis. He made
cigarettes look cool, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished.

He talked freely (much too freely!) about sex. His comments
were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally
    embarrassing..

I now know that my early concepts about relationships were
influenced strongly by the stranger. Time after time, he
opposed the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked
… And NEVER asked to leave.

More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved
in with our family. He has blended right in and is not nearly
as fascinating as he was at first. Still, if you could walk into
my parents’ den today, you would still find him sitting over
in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and
    watch him draw his pictures.

    His name?….
    We just call him ‘TV.’

    (Note: This should be required
    reading for every household!)

He has a wife now….we call her ‘Computer.’

Their first child is “Cell Phone”.

    Second child “I Pod ”

And JUST BORN A FEW YEARS AGO WAS a Grandchild:

    IPAD

    OH MY—-HOW TRUE THIS IS!!!

    Gentle Lessons of Life…

Here are just a few lessons from life which I’m still trying to learn:

A penny saved is obviously the result of a government oversight.

Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft. Today, it’s called golf.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have become really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a new replacement for it.

He who hesitates is probably doing the right thing.

Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are ‘XL’.

If you think there is some good in everybody, you obviously haven’t met ‘everybody’.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you must have someone else in mind to blame.

The sole purpose of a child’s middle name is so that he can tell when he’s ‘really’ in trouble.

There’s always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don’t hurt.

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Some people try to turn back their life’s odometers. Not me, I want people to know ‘why’ I look this way. I’ve travelled a long, long way and some of the roads weren’t paved.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, just think of Algebra.

One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young.

Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

Lord, Keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth…

A very poor woman called a Christian radio station asking for help. A bad, evil man who was listening to this radio program decided to make something out of it. He got her address, called his secretary and ordered her to buy food and take to the woman with the following instruction., “when the woman asks who sent the food, tell her that its from the devil.” When she arrived, the woman was so happy and she started putting the food inside. The Secretary asked her, ”don’t you want to know who sent the food”?? The woman answered. ”NO , it doesn’t matter, because when GOD orders, even the devil obeys.” The secretary broke into tears. * Now, READ this CAREFULLY* You are a divine project, so shall God accomplish whatever that concerns you. That thing in your life that seems impossible, shall be possible. God will take you to a greater height, God is opening your book of Remembrance, because you are next inline to be favoured in Jesus Christ name. If you want this prayer, press ‘LIKE’ and write, a big “AMEN” to claim it NOW!!. Please share this story.

Amaica my dear, I heard about someone in Otahati that is qualified to deal with pinch nerve and slip discuss etc, my bro goes there as well as the RnJ cell people, they swear by him, thinking of going to him, I have terrible lower back pain and sciatica, the pain is unbearable an can’t sleep in the night, also it is being aggravated by all the work I’m doing on the land, been planting digging holes n drains, weeding, spraying etc, I finally washed the interior of the house, now to paint, sand the floor, varnish it and it livable,
Oh, I got tired telling about it, lol
Enjoy the rest of the day lots of love

    WHY GO TO CHURCH

If you’re spiritually alive, you’re going to love this!
If you’re spiritually dead, you won’t want to read it.
If you’re spiritually curious, there is still hope!

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper & complained
that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. ‘I’ve gone for 30
years now,’ he wrote, ‘& in that time I have heard something like 3,000
sermons, but for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them.
So, I think I’m wasting my time & the preachers & priests are wasting
theirs by giving sermons at all.’
This started a real controversy in the ‘Letters to the Editor’ column.

Much to the delight of the editor, it went on for weeks until someone
    wrote this clincher:

‘I’ve been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some
32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for
a single one of those meals. But I do know this: They all nourished me &
gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me
these meals, I would be physically dead today.

Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be
    spiritually dead today!’
When you are DOWN to nothing, God is UP to something!
Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible & receives the
    impossible!

Thank God for our physical & our spiritual nourishment!
IF YOU CANNOT SEE GOD IN ALL, YOU CANNOT SEE GOD AT ALL !
    B. I. B. L. E. simply means: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!
When you are about to forward this to others, the devil will discourage
    you.

    THIS IS A KEEPER !!
As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300. or $30.00 watch – –
they both tell the same time.

Whether we carry a $300 or
    $30.00 wallet/handbag; the amount of money inside is the same;

Whether we drink a bottle of $300 or $10 wine, the hangover is the same

Whether the house we live in is 300
or 3000 sq. ft. – loneliness is the same.

You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.

Whether you fly first or economy class, if the plane goes down – –
    you go down with it.

    Therefore. I hope you realize,
when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with,
laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with,
    talk about north-south-east-west or heaven & earth……
    That is true happiness!!

    FIVE UNDENIABLE FACTS OF LIFE:

    1. Don’t educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be Happy.
So when they grow up they will know the value of things not the price.

    2. Best awarded words in London …
“Eat your food as your medicines.
Otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food.”

    3. The One who loves you will never leave you because even if there are 100 reasons to give up,
he or she will find one reason to hold on.

    4. There is a big difference between
a human being and being human.
Only a few really understand it.

    5. You are loved when you are born.
You will be loved when you die.
In between, You have to manage!

If you just want to Walk Fast,
    Walk Alone!

But if you want to Walk Far,
    Walk Together!

QUIZ FOR MY VERY BRIGHT FRIENDS

There are only nine questions. This is a quiz for people who know everything!
I found out in a hurry that I didn’t. These are not trick questions.
They are straight questions with straight answers..

    1. Name the one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends.

    2. What famous North American landmark is constantly moving backward?

3 Of all vegetables, only two can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons. All other vegetables must be replanted every year. What are the only two perennial vegetables?

    4. What fruit has its seeds on the outside?

    5. In many liquor stores, you can buy pear brandy, with a real pear inside the bottle. The pear is whole and ripe, and the bottle is genuine; it hasn’t been cut in any way. How did the pear get inside the bottle?

    6. Only three words in standard English begin with the letters ‘ dw’ and they are all common words. Name two of them.

    7. There are 14 punctuation marks in English grammar. Can you name at least half of them?

    8. Name the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form except fresh.

    9. Name 6 or more things that you can wear on your feet beginning with the letter ‘S.’

    Answers To Quiz:

1 The one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends: Boxing.

2 North American landmark constantly moving backward: Niagara Falls .. The rim is worn down about two and a half feet each year because of the millions of gallons of water that rush over it every minute.

3 Only two vegetables that can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons: Asparagus and rhubarb.

4 The fruit with its seeds on the outside: Strawberry.

5 How did the pear get inside the brandy bottle? It grew inside the bottle. The bottles are placed over pear buds when they are small, and are wired in place on the tree. The bottle is left in place for the entire growing season. When the pears are ripe, they are snipped off at the stems.

6 Three English words beginning with dw: Dwarf, dwell and dwindle…

7 Fourteen punctuation marks in English grammar: Period, comma, colon, semicolon, dash, hyphen, apostrophe, question mark, exclamation point, quotation mark, brackets, parenthesis, braces, and ellipses.

8 The only vegetable or fruit never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form but fresh: Lettuce.

9 Six or more things you can wear on your feet beginning with ‘S’: Shoes, socks, sandals, sneakers, slippers, skis, skates, snowshoes, stockings, stilts.

      Kris…
It’s great hearing from you.I can only imagine what it’s like for you
in that neighborhood.. Too much has happened .. You are doing the
right thing by moving out…While in the new house you can get the
final touches finished faster. I’m really happy for you.
RVR will have to travel the extra miles… Let’s hope it’s not for too long.
With children, exams and lessons are the norm but nothing last forever.

My home is still not finished.. The guys got a big job that’s finishing middle
July so I told them it’s okay to leave. They completed what they
initially started… It’s phase two ,three and four before completion.
That will take me into middle August… Girl it’s a lot to do but it will eventually
get done. Will soon be looking for a renter for the mil house ..
Praying for someone good.. It’s not the money .. More to have people around.
Since the BIL died the place has become very quiet and lonely.. Not much
folks around .. Can’t go for holidays now until we get someone.

So sorry to hear about the vehicle…I know you can handle your stories.
My son hit his BMW since February…Has to order parts from England
and that is still not done because of insurance etc. He has been using
my van since… I don’t mind but I am concerned about his car being parked
Up for such a long time… Luckily I kept my car so I’m using that to
get around… KR has company vehicle… He
