“Summers are meant for having coconut water by the beach” : Preetika Rao

Popular actress Preetika Rao shares with us the ways to beat the heat during summers and says that she likes the summer fashion trend.

Summer is here and the rise in mercury has made everyone start feeling the heat. Our TV celebs too are not spared and they follow some tips to take care of their skin and health during summers. TellyBuzz speaks to your favorite celeb to know more about their summer choice and the tips they follow to stay cool during summers.

Today we got in touch with the good looking actress Preetika Rao who currently essays the character of Aaliya in Colors’ popular show Beintehaa. Here is Preetika sharing her likes and dislikes about summer along with giving tips to her fans.

Do you like anything about summer?

Yes, I like the cool drinks. I like the fashion trend that summer brings in because you get to see nice stuff mostly in summer collection.

Summers are meant for… A lot of coconut water by the beach and chilling with friends and family.

The perfect summer wear for me is… I would like to wear tank tops paired with capris or shorts.

Shooting during summer is… Difficult if it’s an outdoor shoot because of the heat.

Things I carry along during summer… I always have water with me. Besides that I carry sun block especially when I step out. I also carry deo sprays and perfumes along with me.

My favorite summer drink is… Coconut water.

My travel destination during summer is… Goa!

My beauty regime during summer is… I always follow a pattern beauty regimen, whether its summer or winter and that is keeping my skin clean at night before I go to bed. Cleanse it well. Also use acne treating cream. I use dermatologicaly approved soaps and face washes. I use sun block during day. I keep myself hydrated.

My diet during summer is… I don’t usually follow a diet during summers. But the fluid intake is more than the usual.

My fitness regime during summer is… I don’t go to the gym that often. But I am a strict vegetarian, so I think that helps me to stay fit.

One summer tip for your fans… Don’t expose your skin to the sun since the UV Rays are bad for skin. They are cancerous. Use sun block when you step out. Use caps and hats or sun umbrellas.
