Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to focus on high rates of onions

Prices of onions have sky rocketed and the theme will be imbibed in the upcoming plot of the comic injected show on SAB TV, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms).

A source informs us that the track, starting from Monday, will tell us as to how the soaring onion prices have affected people.

Iyer (Tanuj Mahashabde) will be seen going to the market where he will find a man selling onion for Rs. 60 a kg. Excitedly, he will buy 10 kgs of onions in fear that he might not get such an offer again if the prices shoot up further. The track will to teach us a lesson that buying vegetables in bulk can also cause wastage.

We tried contacting Tanuj but he remained unavailable for comment.
