Here re actors talking about the same-

Shivaji Satam as ACP Pratyuman in CID
I feel very proud to be an Indian and the freedom that we enjoy in our democracy. Wishing my fellow citizens a great Independence Day and hope that they work towards making a greater and stronger India.

Dayanand Shetty as Daya in CID
I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Independence Day. The day holds great importance for our country as we remember all the struggles put forth by our great freedom fighters. I get overwhelmed every time I see the Indian flag flying or hear patriotic songs. On this day, I would like to urge all my viewers to do their bit for the country and help make India a great place to live.

Faisal l Khan as Kunwar Pratap in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap
I am always very excited to celebrate Independence Day. Every year I make it a point to attend the flag hoisting at my school and excitedly pin small paper flag to my shirt. This year too, I will be following the same.

Rajshree Thakur as Rani Jaiwanta Bai in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap
I do make it a point even today to go to my school for flag hoisting. It is a moment of pride to see the Indian Flag flying high. I still remember the time when I was a student in school and would take part in march past activity as a commander. Even today it is a visual treat to see the march past taking place in my school and reminiscing my childhood days. Unfortunately this year I would not be able to go to my school for flag hoisting but I will surely watch the flag hoisting ceremony and listen to the President’s speech.

Krystle Dsouza as Sakshi in Ek Nayi Pehchaan
I have very fond memories of Independence Day. In my school days I remember as kids we had to assemble in our school for the flag hoisting. All of us would get a little paper badge that we proudly pin up to our uniforms. We would also sing the national anthem and salute our freedom fighters.
