Bandhan to start from 16th Sept 2014; takes Ek Mutthi Aasman slot
Bandhan will take Ek Mutthi Aasman’s time slot of 7pm from 16th September 2014.
That means it will most likely be curtains on Ek Mutthi Aasman. Despite making drastic changes and changing the leads, nothing went right for Ek Mutthi Aasman as its ratings kept falling without the main stars of the show, Rachana Parulkar and Aashish Chaudhary.
We often think fans have no impact on any TV channel, but here perhaps, it’s loyal fans’ nonstop negative feedback lead to closure of the show.
Asha Negi and Kunal Verma tried their best to fill the absence of Rachana Parulkar and Aashish Chaudhary, but it seems like they were not able to impress the audience. We wish both Asha Negi and Kunal Verma better luck for their future projects.

September 01, 11:19I agree with all of you…when the writers screwed up the show with this revenge story..it went way off course..they should have let the relationship of Raghav and Kali developed..instead they ruined it and ruined the show….I am glad it is going off, cause this story line right now is stupid….The other cast members were jealous of the popularity of Rachana and Ashish and kicked her off the show, and I think he left because of this…..

i am glad they finally realise it is the viewers who make the final decision whether the show is popular or not. They blamed Rachna, saying she was not performing up to par.

September 01, 08:40I’m really sorry for Asha Negi and Kunal Verma . They looked good together . They should be careful in the future about what roles they accept and who’s shoes they are trying to fill .
It’s always better to start off as a new character , than to replace another , especially a leading popular character .
It’s the writers and not the actors who messed up EMA though .
It’s good that they have realized that fans have a lot of power .

They did magic with their superb chemistry. Nobody can replace them. We want to see them together in a new show ASAP. Missing them alot.

September 01, 07:36Ashish and Rachana were amazing.. They were and are the JAANS of Ek Mutthi Aasmaan.. Without jaan, the show cnt go on.. The makers and the othe actors of the show just couldn;t let go of their jealousy as Rachana was more popular than them and so they gave her the COLD SHOULDER.. And the PH replaced her on the pretext and false claims tht THEY WEREN;T HAPPY WID HER WORK.. Now KARMA bit their backs.. Bandhan rocks.. EMA sucks..
