Kumkum Bhagya 22nd August 2014 Written Episode

The episode starts with Abhi dragging Puneet down and slapping him repeatedly. Pragya asks why is he beating his brother and asks what did he do. Tanu says she was changing clothes and he peeped in. Cousin says he did not do that and Tanu herself called him. Ahi starts slapping him again. Aaliya says Tanu told her that he was looking at her wierdly, but she ignored it. Abhi says Tanu is his… then stops and says she is his sister’s friend and starts slapping him again. Mami asks Abhi to stop, but Mamaji asks her not to stop and says he wanted to dance with Tanu and should be punished for that.

Aaliya drags Tanu from there. Tanu asks why did she send Abhi there. Aaliya she sent Puneet there. Tanu says Abhi came to her and they were intimate in the room when Puneet came there, he must have seen them together. Aaliya says he would have told about it if he would have seen them.

Aaliya says now that we got opportunity, they should use it. She asks Pragya if she is not shameful to have brother like this and asks mamaji if they have given their son this kind of upbringing and says girls are not safe because of these kind of guys. She asks Daadi why is she quiet now and says these middle class people play double standards and trap richies. She says she will get Puneet arrested as she misbehaved with her bestfriend. She asks Abhi to call police and charge Puneet with molestation. Pragya says her brother did not that and should not be punished. Cousin daadi asks how did Abhi know that Puneet was peeping on Tanu and asks if he was inside or outside the room. Pragya thinks Abhi was with Tanu then and if mom will know about it, what will happen. Abhi says he was going nearby the room and saw him peeing. Puneet says he is lying. Abhi asks him to shut up. Aaliya tries to call police, but Tanu stops her and says their family’s name will be spoilt. Abhi asks Puneet to get out. Daadi asks Abhi to calm down and takes Puneet and whole family from there, while Puneet still pleads he did not do anything.

Mitali and Raj reach her father’s house and wish him happy birthday. Papa introduces Raj to his friends and asks all quests to have food. Papa’s friends talk about their real estate business and asks him to speak to Raj and sort out the matter. Papa asks them to keep quiet and asks Raj about Aaliya’s engagement. Raj says it went well. Papa gives him a precious watch and asks him to give it to Aliya.

Tanu takes Abhi to the corner and asks if he not angry that she stopped Aaliya from getting Puneet arrested and says his name would have spoilt and she is worried about him. Abhi apologizes Tanu for misunderstanding him and is about to kiss her when Pragya comes there. Pragya thanks Tanu for not complaining about her brother. Tanu asks him to stop acting good in front of Abhi and leaves.

Tanu says Aaliya that she trapped Abhi again today and he apologized her, now she is back in his life. Aaliya says she did excellent job and says to get Pragya out, they have to play her level game.

Mitali and Raj reach home back. Raj asks why did papa give so many gifts. Mitali says he can repay him back by approving his project. She tries to convince him and says if he does not agree, she will give herself and her children poison and will die as she cannot live a miserable life.

Aaliya asks Pragya if her whole family is like her and are expert in trapping richies and says like she kicked her brother out, she will kick her also. Tanu comes there and says she is going out with Abhi and will spend with him after a long time. Aaliya asks her to be careful as Abhi is groggy now a days being with cheap people. Tanu says she knows how to handle Abhi. Sarla sadly looks at her old day’s pic with kid Pragya and Bulbul sadly. She reminisces Tanu with Abhi. Bulbul comes there and sees her engrasped in thoughts and asks what happened. Sarla asks why Tanu is always around Abhi and she does not like that Bulbul says she is Aaliya’s best friend, so she is always around. She jokes with her and distracts her attention. She then calls Pragya and informs about Sarla doubting Tanu and Abhi’s relationship and asks her to do something.

Precap: Puneet tells Sarla and whole family that he saw Abhi being intimate with Tanu inside the room..

    Did u guys noticed this on thursday? Towards the ending of the episode?
    When abhi asked puneet about what he was doing there?
    And puneet said that tanu wanted to see him.
    Did u see the look on his face then?
    Something like “why would tanu want to see him”
    And when tanu denied nothing of such and puneet saying your friend there told me..
    Then abhi must have figured it out that, it was a set-up, from those vampires.
    So the reasons y abhi must have beaten puneet up are two.
    Its either he figured the plan out and played along with those witches.
    Or
    He figured out and did this drama to save pragya
    I.e he doesn’t want the whole family especially, pragya’s mom to found out about him and tanu. So lying about puneet peeping at tanu changing in the room. Will be a cover for him, that is even if puneet said what really happened nobody would believe him.

    But if this is the case I think he wen too far with it.
    Cause there’s no way the truth won’t be out sooner or later

      Hi izzi.u know what abhi is not that clever to figure out scheming s n plotts done by those vampires. If he was, by this time marry ing pragya he would have found out her innocence. But still he’s blind n moron to thought in that path.

      Hi, you do have a point there about Abhi enacting everything for the sake of Pragya tho it appears to be far fetched . Still , the truth will ultimately come out- for Puneet would explain himself to his parents and folks at home ( The precap does hint this ).So, Abhi if he put up this show , the purpose seems to be lost.Everything is possible in our serials !

      you have point, just hope Abhi seeking for the truth and not being a foolish to know that this young guy would be so disrespectful, Puneet was so happy that a beautiful girl like Tanu want to see him, but instead get a beating, now he would know how evil Tanu is.

      @sanvi. I know he’s not that smart n jump into conclusion without much thinking. For instance the police episode,where he thought suresh n his wife plotting against him.
      But still he should know what those witches r up to.
      Because they used to plot this together. And aaliya is his sister he should no her more than anyone
      Tanu is his GF he should no him more than anyone.
      The reasons why he might not see his wife innocences is probably because he doesn’t have the intention of getting close. And the first image he has on her stays intact. ‘Cause he wants to get rid of her asap. So for these he might know probably like we think he does.

      If Abhi beats thi puneet just to cover himself up then the writers r totally out of their minds.

    Seeing as sarla will find out about the truth of pragya and abhis relationship I think pragya should tell abhis daadi as well because sarlas health will become poorly and pragya should decide to tell the whole truth to everyone and slap abhi to make him realise his mistake and purabh should not marry Aaliyah !

    Abhi has really taken a major step backward by doing this. Purabh should break the marriage on the day and also tell abhi about the truth of how pragya is not the girl he loves along with a tight slap round his face. He should marry bulbul in front of everyone and leave Aaliyah standing there!!

    Abhi has fallen from the pedestal on which his fans had placed him on. How could he beat up the youngster not even giving him a chance to explain himself? Abhi has shattered all the dreams we had about him , reforming and bonding with his wife.In Abhi’s case , he was ridden with guilt at being caught red handed when he was in a very compromising situation with Tanu , and being an excapist, he sought this way out by framing poor Puneet . Where is his moral values ? All these place Abhi in a very poor light. Truly, he does not deserve Pragya . He needs to be taught a hard lesson in life . It was disgusting to see the level to which Aaliya and her “best ” friend could stoop to to defame Pragya in the eyes of Abhi’s family.The two are made for each other , one no better than the other. But, the tragedy is that Abhi allows himself to be a part and parcel of this scheming manipulative gang .It was depressing to see Pragya and her family at a loss of words . Sarla would be majorly affected as she would soon learn about the Tanu-Abhi relationship, tho she already she has a premonition that all’s not well in Abhi-Pragya marriage. The damage is done by Abhi and it would be a very long time before we, the viewers would forgive him for this behavior .Unless , some miracle happens that alters our opinion.
