Rachana ‘disappointed’ with her exit; Ashish aka Raghav to go missing in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan
Rachana Parulkar, who ruled million of hearts with her character of Kalpi in Zee TV’s Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, has been shown the exit door by the makers (DJ’s A Creative Unit).
Yes, the actress has been asked to quit the show and as reported by us, Asha Negi will be seen as the new female lead in the serial.
According to our sources, Kalpi will meet with a severe car accident and her face will get burned. She will also suffer memory loss.
So what will happen next? Well, like umpteenth number of times, plastic surgery track will unfold and Kalpi will get a new face….which will be that of Asha Negi’s

Furthermore, the male lead Raghav played by Ashish Chowdhry will also suffer from the car accident and go missing. But contrary to media reports, Ashish has not quit the show but will return after a hiatus.
“The plot will be similar to that of the movie Deewana,” said a source.
We buzzed Rachana on sudden changes and her exit and she shared in a disappointed tone: “I heard about the development three-four days ago but I wasn’t sure about it. Today morning I was informed by the production house about quitting the show. I am a very positive person and I don’t want to hold any grudges. I want to quit the show in full dignity and gratitude. Of course I am disappointed as the serial meant a lot to me but whatever happens, happens for the best.”
So who will you miss the most? “I will miss my character of Kalpi and working with Ashish (Chowdhry).”
What do you have to say about such culture on television where actors are changed overnight? “It’s bad and disappointing. Many big actors have got replaced overnight but what can one do about it.”
So are you aware that Asha is replacing you? “Even I have heard about it but I don’t know if she is going to play the character of Kalpi.”
What are your future plans? “I will continue acting and hope to be back soon.”
Any message for your fans? “I would thank my fans for loving me so much. I don’t want anyone to get disheartened and I want to quit the show with respect and love.”
We called Asha. Ashish and Producer Deeya but they remained busy to comment.

Congratulations to the production team for their innovative brainwave (sarcasm intended!) and decision to remove a talented and beautiful actress, who is such a prominent part of the immense popularity of this show. AND what is the basis of this decision I wonder??? not lack of talent certainly.

July 24, 18:41I tell you all this before, Rachna was more popular than Shirina, they lost a lot of their viewers too, so in order to bring up their falling place in the charts, they decided to kill two birds with one stone, or should I say three, we all noticed how they painted and Powdered poor Rachna face white, making her look like an ugly china doll, so they sacked her because she more popular than shirina, bring in Asha to get her fans to look at the show, because I would love to see Asha act again, and they got a fairer actress than Rachna.
What is wrong in have a darker complexion, she certainly a thousand times more beautiful than Shirina even without have her face painted white.
Don’t know what is with these damn Indians and their obsession with white when they blasted brown.
Love you Rachna and you will soar to gets heights and that talentless Shirini will of cours buy her way to the top with her aunty always pulling string. For her. Let’s see how long she would last, don’t think any role would redeem her. She’s got no talent nor looks at all to compensate for being unattractive and boney.

July 24, 17:23EMA is nothing without Ragna and Ragna is nothing without Rachana paying Kalpi……….if someone else plays Kalpi it would feel as if it’s not really her and when Raghav and Kalpi finally get together it would still seem as if Ragna Love story was unsuccessful because the person who went through all the struggles to be with Raghav (Rachana) won’t be the same person who get’s him at the end (Asha) 🙁
